M & M Lab in WCHS Algebra II Class

Rohnda McClurg's Algebra II class had fun learning about systems of equations using M & Ms as manipulatives.  Having the students actively engaged brought the classroom to life and made algebra so much more fun!

Off to a Great Start!!

The 2012-2013 school year in Carter County is off to a great start, and we want to share this year in the form of a blog.

In the months to come, we will be highlighting great teachers from across the county and sharing creative ideas from one classroom to another.

As teachers, we play such a vital role in the lives of our students.  The smiles on our faces or the kind words from our mouths may be the very actions that transform their lives from ones of failure to success.
